DR. KHETARPAL

UMANG KHETARPAL, M.D.

Board Certified in ENT-Facial Plastic Surgery

Dr. Khetarpal is double board-certified in Ear, Nose, and Throat – Facial Plastic Surgery and in Sleep Medicine. He has practiced facial plastic surgery for over 20 years including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, skin cancer removal and reconstruction, facelift, chin implants, ear reshaping or otoplasty, botox injection, and fillers. He enjoys performing rhinoplasties but generally adopts a more controlled approach to his surgery and prefers a more normal than an operated look for his patients. This approach of doing enough but not too much the first time and do a little more, if necessary, down the line is a lot safer when compared to more aggressive surgery. The latter can sometimes result in a misshapen nose or a small nose that may require building the nose back up, which is a lot more complex. The facelift approach is also a conservative sub-SMAS approach with minimal risk to the facial nerve.
