Dr Khetarpal is double board-certified in Ear, Nose and Throat – Facial Plastic Surgery and in Sleep Medicine. He has practiced facial plastic surgery for over 20 years including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, skin cancer removal and reconstruction, facelift, chin implants, ear reshaping or otoplasty, botox injection, and fillers. He enjoys performing rhinoplasties but generally adopts a more controlled approach to his surgery and prefers a more normal than an operated look for his patients. This approach of doing enough but not too much the first time and do a little more, if necessary, down the line is a lot safer when compared to more aggressive surgery. The latter can sometimes result in a misshapen nose or a small nose that may require building the nose back up, which is a lot more complex. The facelift approach is also a conservative sub-SMAS approach with minimal risk to the facial nerve.

Dr. Khetarpal finished his medical school at the young age of 22, then trained in Otolaryngology-Facial Plastic Surgery, first in India than in the US. His residency training was at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY with clinical and research fellowships at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Harvard Medical School in Boston. He has co-authored book chapters and publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at major specialty society meetings. He was listed in Best Doctor’s in America. He has also spent time with some of the most prominent and talented facial cosmetic surgeons in the world to observe their techniques.
